Annelyse Finley from my point of view someone who has been in the trenches for 40 plus years. you have two distinct things going on... one as J martin explained your going to use your Freddie fannie slots 4 or some times up to ten to buy rental homes with and a personal resi.these will need to be in your personal name and proper insurance with an umbrella usually suffice'sLLC for me is not about asset protection as much as it is about setting up partnerships and uneven distributions of profit or loss.. plus loss carry back if needed for us self employed folks.

You may be the first.That being said, tucking it in a door, putting it THROUGH a mail slot that is actually cut in the door, or putting it in their newspaper delivery box is more effective than using a mailbox and doesn't break any laws.However, hand delivery is very time consuming and expensive and probably not incrementally that much better than a mailing.

The icemaker usually has "keyhole" slots in it - lift up on the icemaker and pull it away from the wall of the freezer to free it from the screws.

You need to jack up all the weight on top of that existing joist to get it out, which usually includes the sub-floor above (if you don't take that slot out), the bottom plate, the wall, and on up.

@Beary Bowles I find a closet if possible and install a mail slot with a $12 mail catching bag on the other side.
