Talk to a building official (like aninspector)   and the Chamber of Commerce to get tips.

Wherever you invest make sure it has diversity and a growing population.Where you might be making repairs talk to building officials (like inspector) or the Chamber of Commerce to get a feel of what they look for and how does the future look in your area.Your business has taught you some of what you will done.

The Chamber of Commerce, building inspectors who have been around for a while, city council members with experience, and neighbors can help you with their opinions and statements.Sales and marketing abilities will help you make the right purchases.  

You can include a copy of that loan letter with your offers to give the seller and they will have the idea of your capability.The Chamber of Commerce people can give you an idea of future development in your investment area, city building inspectors that have been around a while, and experienced real estate Agents to give you an idea of what to look out for and current economies.  

Head to that city's website and look at that city's chamber of commerce.

My wife has gotten involved at the Chamber and is now on a committee geared towards the senior space.

You might talk to an experienced person in the Chamber of Commerce person to what they have planned to happen in the future and what they are predicting.  

I do not think that anyone can really predict the future you have to deal with present and check with The Chamber of Commerce of a particular city to get a feel for what the city has planned.u
