While there are other avenues for better returns, most of these owners are professionals who are not interested in learning about real estate investing (several doctors, nurses, attorneys, engineers, etc.) 

You see, I'm not here to support or enable poor practitioners of real estate especially those who think they already know things and then ask how to employ a tactic they know about.

I guess I shouldn't complain- even though it still requires work, hand-holding, and some nursing along, it has more than quadrupled in value.

Here in Denver, though, you can easily get a traveling nurse to stay for a few months.
