People need to be able to picture their tastes, not see yours.  

I'd avoid buying anything in Lawrence Township because the judge there does not like evicting people for non-payment of rent.  

Putting yourself around the right people will push you very far in RE.

I recently devoured the book "How to Invest in Real Estate: The Ultimate Beginner's Guide" recently...which led me to discovering this community...which is leading me to thinking about my next chapter in life.

I'm looking for people who have actually done it or are brokers that specialize in self-storage and are familiar with the markets who could give me some tips on what to look out for and how to work towards buying them.

For this house as it is relatively close to other homes we try to get no dogs and meet/approve any dogs if the tenants are good candidates most people don't have time for that.  

I see a lot of people are using Avail, TurboTenant, Buildium, etc.

I haven't done any skip tracing really.. but I you look at all of those sites like been verified, spokeo, etc... you can tell there is a ton of information out there tied to every person, people with the same names in same cities... multiple people tied to different addresses..etc...    

@Carol Donaldson I have not purchased from them, but know people that have.
