Okay so I'm looking to by my personal home and I'm looking two for some Equity as soon as I move in assuming that I have bought correctly what are some renovations that I can do that will bring equity besides the same kitchen and bathroom will I gain any Equity from doing things like removing wood paneling and putting up drywall but basically I'm looking for some type of list of things to help improve the house and get as much equity as possible

You will also have to pay for the new electric meter socket, wire to the transformer, and electrical panel inside the house.You may have to re-do the plumbing in the house to split up the two sides of the house so they can be on separate meters.

Now I too am a DIYer, however, my suggestion is to utilize either loan to take care of the big capital expenditures to have that out of the way for the next 15-30 years such as the roof, HVAC, upgrading electrical panels to separate utilities, etc.

Thankfully we had moved the electrical panel to the back porch a year earlier when we rewired & eliminated the old 'screw you' fuses.I fired off a text to my maintenance guy & he was there by 5am as it took that long for the fire dept. to pump out her basement.
