I mean, even if the market is different I can imagine people here still invest in real estate, but maybe they follow different criteria, if the numbers I have been finding as examples for the states are true (I know if would also differ hugely from one state and city to another) why people rent at all. 

If you don't mind sharing, what are some of the things that you have done with your vacation rentals to differentiate your product from the rest of the herd?

Often the offers are significantly different (ie one is cash and the other traditional financing) so submitting both isn't as probelmatic since the seller will decide which one meets their needs best.

If the condo is newer and updated already, it would be hard to differentiate the condo itself, but you can be a compassionate, personal LL/PM.
