Here was the situation...I graduated high school and started working at a Hunting and Fishing Store.  

When you show up as a new investor to them, the agent already knows that it is not going to be a big fish property, so they are not going to make it a top priority to bend over backwards for you or a cheap house.... understandable, because I am an agent who also gets the 5-10 calls a month from people looking a cheap home for "deals".  

Other than that we don't see the need to get into it, certainly not with people who are not investors themselves.Guys I fish with.............it never comes up.

There are plenty of wealthy people who know all kinds of sports stats, drink and smoke like a fish, and work at jobs they hate.

And the PTB pull the rug out again, blame the little guys, throw a few small banksters, etc. under the bus, and start reeling- in the drag nets for the latest fish out of the Maritime Admiralty waters catch, onto dry land!

Like when i went on a camping/fishing trip, I was texting bad and forth with a new tenant coaching her on how to use electronic payment software.I decided to go 50/50 traditional/Roth, mostly because I genuinely have NO IDEA if I will take a high paying civilian job in the max tax bracket, live off and pursue real estate full time, or something in between - after leaving the service in a few years.

My circle of friends are into fishing and are not an ideal group to have REI conversations with; so I don't.

My rentals will give me the occasional chore to do,  I like to hunt and fish, and twice a year we will take extended trips to visit places we've been before and loved, and new places we want to discover.

I've always wondered what it would be like to be a big fish in a little pond rather than small fish in a big pond.
