I think the prices are artificially constrained because of the inability to develop new housing stock to meet the demand for housing. 

If you are half intelligent and somewhat mechanical heating systems are not rocket science by any stretch of the imagination.

It's not for everybody, but for many intelligent people I think it's very much worth the extra effort.

Hi @Christine Swaidan,The harder you emphasize you are getting bids from multiple contractors and hardcore shopping to get the lowest price and quality, the less time any reasonably intelligent person should expect any reasonably intelligent contractor to put into any particular bid.A family member of mine is a high service, high quality GC, always available via cell.
