I had all new appliances in there besides a used washer and dryer.

The washer/dryer is in basement where both units have access to.

Fridge, range, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer all for about $2100.We use lower-end brushed nickel fixtures (lighting and plumbing), all new registers/switches/outlets/plates, and standard 6-panel MDF doors.As for recessed lighting, the cost comes from the materials and the electrician's labor, so whether you're tearing out the ceiling or not probably won't impact the cost too much, unless you're tearing out enough sheetrock to make the wiring a lot easier.

My lease has a spot to include things like this, which I've used to list items such as refrigerators, washers & dryers, etc.

A few years ago, i was putting washers and dryers in the better units.  

I don't mean to derail the conversation...but do you charge for equipping your units with refrigerators (or other appliances such as washer/dryer)?
