I'm considering purchasing in the Asheville, NC area, and would purchase something that not only satisfies me for my visits, but also is universally attractive for vacation tenants, meaning an attractive setting, reasonably close to downtown, and modern amenities.  

Modern heat pumps work efficiently well below 20 degrees.

I kinda like newer modern units, with convenient commute to Manhattan.Also where do other NY friends check for market listings besides Zillow and StreetEasy?

I have given some thought to the idea of replacing the existing MH with something more modern ( 1990 or newer).

Rodeo Drive features retails shops from many major brands including Adidas, Puma, and of course...The street seems to be undergoing a transition - with older looking shops mixed in with some very nice, modern, newly redesigned looking storefronts - a little like Itaewon, a popular foreign district in Seoul.

I was tod the electrical is still 60 amp, underpowered for energy sucking modern americans.

Both of these food sources are less than the quality you can get from a small organic farmer.Do not be fooled into thinking that because they call it the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act, that it actually makes your food safer.

Foremost is prolly the best bet.Recently they have gotten a little more stringent on inspections, if for some reason they don't want to insure it you can get a fire policy from American Modern.

Around here, American Modern is a good insurance company for cost-effectively blanketing a bunch of rentals (each 6-unit or less) that you have complete or partial ownership in (either LLC or personally owned).

I believe after repairs this home will sell for much more)The renovations would include: an extended and upgraded kitchen, combine 2 of the rooms to make one big master suite with walk in closet and and a master bathroom suite, adding a bathroom, uncovering and refinishing all of the original hardwood floors throughout the entire home, add on back screened in porch with an additional open deck off to the side, new fencing and landscaping, a new roof and some modernized upgrading to the additional rooms.
