This will hurt small farmers, and people who want to save their own seeds and produce their own foods.
It will also make people dependent on large corporations who can afford these new regulations, and the imported food industry. Both of these food sources are less than the quality you can get from a small organic farmer.
Do not be fooled into thinking that because they call it the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act, that it actually makes your food safer. It does nothing to regulate GMO's, pesticide usage, or any of the real food safety problems we have in todays world.
No, this is not about safety. It is about the large corporations shutting down the smaller, healthier farmer.
Are you still asking yourself what is a GMO? You better Google that and do some reading if you prefer to live a long healthy life.
