From an actual design/development standpoint, again, I'm not smart enough to have any original ideas, but I've read that it's probably not going to lead to anything revolutionary anytime soon, just because the technology is so far behind the science (the fact that they found evidence of the particle at CERN was a one-in-a-million shot, and it may be a long time before they can do it again).

I use flipping both as a hobby and as a way to generate cash for my other, longer-term investments (mostly technology incubation).That may change in the future, of course...especially if I ever get good at this real estate stuff...

I don't know about dish technology evolution much, but at least up until recently, line of site has been important for dishes, so I would recommend meeting with the installer to determine where the post should/can go as it is site specific (or at least it used to be).

I fully agree that those cities - towns listed by Vicram C are worth considering as that's where people are moving which is mostly the sun belt and high technology places like some cities in Oregon state or California.
