I look at beat up areas and want to rebuild neighborhoods one house at a time!

Rebuild 70% off , I purchase Honda Insight 2010 , 40,000 miles for 6,000$ And after 5 years 400,000 miles will sale it for 3000$ lol .

My grandson, a firefighters, home burned down, and we will be rebuilding that , along with new construction.

I bought the property, had the front door boarded, the grass mowed 2x, spent 15 minutes cleaning glass up from the storm door that fell down, and am flipping it to an investor who's going to tear it down and rebuild.

Keep in mind it's not all roses I've learned many lessons along the way and am in the process of rebuilding my porfolio again.  

., I think we will start to see the real damage that will likely take years to rebuild from. 

If we focus on job losses alone: savings will be depleted, i.e. no down payments, and it will take a while to rebuild savings accounts. 

I’ll need some time to rebuild my credit, build relationships with lenders/re investors, grow financial iq, and increase my income through other ventures.I’d like to end up living in a tiny home on a few acres that I own, growing my groceries and possibly hemp!

This year we included some goals/plans for our primary residence (turn basement into apartment, rebuild decks, design and build front porch), some personal goals (establish and maintain a healthy eating plan, go to the gym at least twice per week, read and discuss 6 books, one book is to be chosen by our partner), and business goals (find an accountant, analyze present loans and refinance if it makes sense, add 20 doors to our portfolio).

Another story for another day Strategically, we thought about fire risk in 3 ways1) Catastrophic scenario where the house actually burns down: it can take years to obtain permits and actually rebuild a home, plus demand in the area could suffer long-term if the entire area burned, so we agreed we should insure at an amount we could walk away and feel good about it.
