does it even make sense to go to the police?

It's my house and I don't mind if the police visit. 

We love the platform - the concept of mutually anonymous reviews is a brilliant way of policing good practice for both guests and hosts and so far we have been quite happy with the guests we've had. 

I have talked to the local District Attorney and Police Department.

It is gated and is next to a park, school the police academy, gas station freeway and neighborhood wal-mart.  

I discovered co workers who used to live in Houston, they advised me on which areas to avoid and which areas are good, confirming my research.Looked in areas near groceries, Hardware stores, hospitals, police stations, and Starbucks.I know some investors who use judgmental maps to avoid crime areas.Hope this helps!

Then any person who is a descendent of a person stolen from their foreign land to work for free in America will be back paid adjusting to inflation and they also get a (new) house or apartment.

Truthfully outside of certain areas its very hard for municipalities to police it in any way but that could change some day.

If you police the pet bathroom(s) and immediately treat accidents, there's no issue.Dirty careless people will trash a place though.

I also asked a local police officer to join me, in case things got ugly and also to have a witness.
