If you can lock a low rate go for it but the mortgage market is volatile.

It's those who have not properly prepared for the volatility who are finding that they are actually part of the "blood in the streets" rather than the strong position they though they were in.

With all of the volatility in the stock market, I wanted to offer some insight into my investing experience and how I position my overall portfolio to get through extreme volatility like what we are currently seeing.

We would have been way too leveraged with very narrow margins in an extremely volatile market.

IMO it generally looks good on paper but it seems pretty volatile.

With this much volatility in the market I would recommend waiting until volatility gets back to a normal range.

The challenge I think is that people are also wise to maintain liquidity in times of volatility. 

With so much being undetermined right now I feel a lot of investors are going to be looking to take their money out of highly liquid and volatile markets and move their attention to more tangible less volatile assets like real estate. 

I want to move quickly on the negotiated offer but with the uncertainty of the market - what advice would you give in this timing of market volatility and the unknown.
