Sealers I've used never seem to do the job, but just wetting down the area, then scrubbing the Comet in with a dish brush, leaving for awhile and then rinsing off works great for me.

My wife says you need a window over your sink so you can look at stuff while you do dishes, pans etc.

I’ve seen some people say not to use “investments” or “properties” for fear of lenders not dishing out loans, but I’ve had really no problem so far and I’ve been up front that I’m purchasing as an investment property.

My mother-in-law (who has admitted herself that she is not a great cook) once looked at me in bewilderment and asked how I made all of the dishes in a meal come out at the same time.

Here are some the things of which I'm aware that I'll need to consider: 1) business property (non-real) such as lawn care equipment, furniture, appliances (large and small), dishes, linens, tools used in the care of the property; 2) transition of internet presence and accounts (website hosting, domain name, social media, 3rd party booking sites - anything else); 3) deposits already received for future bookings; 4) a listing of contractors they use who are already familiar with the property; 5) a listing of any contracts that would carry over to the new owner;6) details and copies of any existing property management software. What else?

Maybe Murphy's Oil soap all of the wood and leave it as is and see if it rents.I say that because you don't know what's behind that paneling (cost $$$)(40 layers of wallpaper, giant cracks in the lath and plaster, etc...) and from the pic it looks like a lot of cabinets (cost $$$) to replace. If it were mine and I decided to leave it as is, I'd probably do the kitchen floor in (period type) 12 x 12 squares and replace the carpet with dark LVP and see how much rent I could get for it.Probably a new Formica top and a new Dish Washer (just to avoid service calls on the old one) and Greige the wall color.Of course from the pics I can't tell the condition of the cabinets--but have have seen similar ones of that age in incredible shape.Good Luck!
