For as long as I can remember, purchasing property or investing in a multi-family unit has been on my bucket list.

I use to work for Home Depot back in the 90's and I remember contractors using those credit cards.  

I'm too old to remember to check for reviews before I leap, but at least I haven't yet lost a stove (on this one)... ;-)  While I wait for delayed communication from them, I am looking for alternate management in the Canton area. 

I remember even during Covid we sitting pretty collecting all of our Section 8 rent checks.....The County Wake housing authority blows the big one.

While there are plenty of lenders willing to work with new investors, remember that the deal must make sense.

Just remember: most negative reviews are written by problematic tenants.

Give the cost of money these days is around 7%, it would definitely be nice to have a paid off rental.7% cost of money sounds like a lot until you remember that it is actually the tenants that are paying it for you while your money is sitting in an index fund making 8%.

But remember that while a project like this will always have risk.

I feel like I've heard a few podcasts lately with guests that have done this strategy, unfortunately I don't remember their names.

Remember, the notion of amassing wealth without investing is a dangerous myth perpetuated by self-proclaimed experts.
