I’m continually testing different risk return profiles of investments to optimize the returns of my total portfolio investments given the level of risk I’m willing to tolerate.  

For the AC, I went with the GE Profile ClearView window AC unit, specifically the 8,300 BTU model which runs off of a standard 110v outlet, and is available on Amazon with Prime shipping.

Shortly after moving in, this house (built in 2006 so 18 yrs old) styarted having issues - cooktop working erratically, they replaced it with a high-end (GE Profile) new one.....Dishwasher started leaking, replaced with brand new GE Profile. 50 Gal water heater went out (elements) they replaced.So in just 6 months, they have spent about $5000 on me.

Due to high interest rates, those cash flows have become less attractive when you consider their respective risk profiles.
