the rentals were in a shortage, even though the locals were not renting the expensive one, there were still many people from out-of-state rented it.

I did find it interesting that the biggest problem for rental housing (or housing in general) at the moment in NH is that there is a shortage of homes under $300k and rentals under $1100/mo.

Similar to the 08 housing crash oil is bouncing back from a huge recession and that affected the research and development of many of the big companies thus removing a large potential supply of oil from future production so it may catch up to us just like there’s a housing shortage in many areas now because of how many builders went under from the GFC.
