While legal, such a law flirts with the morality and helping others.

From a moral point of view I am glad we gave her every option to escape the situation that we could (which it sounds like you are willing to do as well). 

So the moral of the story is with one hard credit hit I got two vehicles financed at low interest 10k of additional credit and took 5k worth of debt at 25% interest and got it down to 3.5% and 0%.

What an odd predicament we find ourselves in.Bob, your point especially is well taken and a valid point that I hadn't thought of.Again, I want to emphasize that I'm not saying this is the best idea for everyone, in every time and situation, with every set of goals.It's merely one option among many. 

I get you @Jay Hinrichs and agree all profit is not good profit if it makes you question the morality behind it being made.

So moral of the story is be prepared at all times, you never know what you might need until you need it

Or sometimes have a predicament they explain in their ad that is making renting difficult , but may not be a big deal for you...ie, "moving from out of state" or "have two dogs". 

Remember that this is a people business and we are solving their real estate related needs in an ethical, moral and legal fashion (yes, that last little bit stems from M.Q. but that is how I live too) and you can potentially do well.
