The effectiveness of this strategy and the effect on the real estate market, our economy, etc. will be nothing---this is an isolated commidity being traded with a isolated country that is neither a major buyer or reseller of the commidity in question (it would be a different ball of wax altogether if this currency fixing happened across the board in every market)...Don't blink or you will miss the cumulative effect...all this does is create short term violility with no to little trickle down momentum...Regards,Scott Miller

You may only need to use them in the stubborn areas.Also, if the floor is a large area such as a 2 car garage and or has any cracks, you'll want to put down an isolation membrane first. this will keep the cracks from telegraphing through your tile.

How much that increases your overall risk profile is dependent on how deep your pockets are, but as you add more and more leveraged properties the risk will increase.You also have a higher risk of reduced returns with an extended vacancy.The really interesting thing is if you are a buy and hold investor, and don't continually refinance to treat the properties as an ATM, the risk profile graphs between leveraged verses non-leveraged converge as the loan is paid off.Of course, we are looking at this is isolation.
