And federal land exactly the market I see that could be impacted the most by selling federal land to developers is Las Vegas NV.. its surrounded by federal lands.

This is happening in some of the surrounding area as well.

Areas like Williamsburg have small multi-family properties trading at a premium when compared to Bushwick, Bed Stuy, Ridgewood, and surrounding neighborhoods.

I’m looking for residential multi-family’s in the the Tampa Bay Area, so that includes mostly all surrounding cities.  

We had already been planning to do some maintenance and repairs (repave driveway, re-insulate attic, replace two broken faucets, other minor items), but were wondering if, for tax reasons, we are better off waiting until we close on the new home and this is no longer our primary.Can this work count toward tax deductions as preparatory work on rental property, even if it's currently our primary?
