Yes of course there are people who think tokenization is cool and you can get some $ from it, but to grow it at scale - real estate is old school and most who invest six figures in real estate are not 25 years old and are not keen on tokenization.

I am 100% ok with my w2 providing me income to maintain my life and grow a nest egg for the later aspect of life  

I’m new here and just starting my real estate investing journey this year.I live in NY but am looking to purchase multi-unit properties (4+ units) in a growing market outside of the state.Here are a few concerns I’m working through:As a newbie, is it a good idea to buy a property out of state?

We created an LLC because it seemed like the right thing to do and we’re looking to grow our rental portfolio now.

I agree local banks and credit unions will be better if you're planning on growing your portfolio. 

I was also considering the REI expo in February so maybe I'll see you there.You're a self-proclaimed novice but I think many other members of the community would agree that you're well on your way given your potential cashflowing rental and equity.You seem to have a strong position which would allow you to keep growing your portfolio in the next few years.I'd recommend diversifying your RE portfolio the same way you're diversifying with other investments (REITs, Stocks, bonds etc.).

Our area, Destin FL. is somewhat new for AvantStay and they have had some growing pains with their resources in this area, BUT it has not impacted our experience or their quality of service.
