I'm looking to invest in solid countries (politically wise) that allow foreign investments, which makes me think I should look at the different markets in the USA.

He was closing on a 60 deal transaction with a foreign investor that day--wow--I was pumped to see these places!  

I ask because I figure that as a foreigner, investing in US property is not ideal from a cash flow perspective unless you're scaling with multiple properties.

However, it is usually easy to rent individual rooms this late in the year - lots of {particularly foreign} students land at campus without a place to stay.  

Rumor is the market is softening a bit in Brooklyn (not as much foreign investment said one RE broker), I would look to buy into the fall and winter.  

If you are in a hot and possibly peaked market (Things have slowed right down after the introduction of the foreign investor 15% tax) are there any real good opportunities to get cash flow positive properties?
