We have looked in Kingville area of texas but the high taxes and insurance have been the barriers to entrance for us.

At least my carpenter told me that that this was a hole for a snake, with several entrances.

The backyard is basically this shop plus a driveway for the basement tenants (basement entrance in the backyard with their own driveway).

I mean, you wouldn't have to pay for a roof, the main entrance to each unit is inside, unexposed to the weather, etc.  

Even if the use is authorized, what do codes say about utilities, entrance and access?

I plan on continuing the application process but I also might try getting my license over the summer and attempt entrance through that route.

I was recently on the hunt for a similar property (live in one side, rent the other), but ended up with an old home with a big basement that had an outside entrance that I turned into a rental unit.

I put some at major shopping center entrances, major intersections and at major road entrances to some of my targeted neighborhoods.Is there any particular placement or certain things that seem to prompt people to take more or less of your signs?
