We'll get the doors and windows on before we bring any finishing materials on-site, we'll hold off installing the compressor and coil until we're ready to list, and I imagine we'll use our Lasershield portable alarm at some point until we get a real alarm system in there.

But the resulting surface won't generally be perfect, so you generally texture it.....also not hard to do with an air compressor and one of those texturing hoppers from HD, and a little practice.

I have heard of owners setting J-Bolts in the cement pad when an outdoor compressor is placed and then drilling holes in the bottom of the unit where the bolts come up from the pad so that the unit can be bolted to the pad from the inside.
