There was a BP member who was quite active for a short duration that presented hi use case for RE not being a good investment compared to other investments especially ially stocks.  

Getting rid of pitbulls, breaking up illegal activity, evicting nonpaying tenants, renovating to the studs so we can get higher rents.

I find this screens out any guests that could have issues and lays the groundwork for a great stay.It also weeds out folks (in our case) that aren't understanding the distance to town and certain activities in our area.

The 'good guys' on here can help the newbies by pointing out the very obvious trolls......Just my $0.02 I think if we have active moderators and active community to help put them back in the bag it will be fine as well.

I saw that people mentioned Jefferson Lilly's Park Street and the fund run by the MHU founders in the past.

Best bet would be a “partnership” with a monied individual looking for a high risk/high return passive investment with you providing the “active” part.
