Brokers acting as paper pushers and contract writers will obviously charge alot less than a broker taking on all responsibilities including marketing. 

This can create a subtle but effective pain point for the landlord—especially if they’re not excited about taking on those responsibilities.

It wasn’t clear in advance what the next steps were, or who was responsible for doing what.
