I'm seeing 2008 all over again just for Las Vegas because the impact on tourism will not be fixed fast 

I personally live in an area that relies on tourists (many Chinese) traveling to Yellowstone National Park and I'm expecting tourism to be down as much as 40 - 50%.If you have a short-term rental, how will you survive if the market fails to recover?

If it does effect tourism you are looking at 90-120 days.

However, the best LOs are probably not messaging you directly on LinkedIn with a sales pitch because they're busy handling inbound leads.

I live in a area close to a heavy tourism reliant community.   

It is obviously a great city and tourism is a huge industry so if you can get a good property to AirBnB then there is lots of demand for tenants. 

Also being that Florida is really all about tourism and retirement, with those 2 things off the areas you want, it will limit what your looking at.
