I have a book or two from Bronchick and a download from Diamond, the cost isn't the issue - it's which will give me the information to get started as a beginner.My background is accounting, so I started with 'doing the numbers' on paper, looking at quads for sale in my area and talking to other investors.Now it's time to fish or cut bait, so which course would you (experienced investors please) choose if you were just starting?

I wonder if there might be a lot of such opportunities for people who aggressively fish around and find sellers who will take "whatever the market will bear" regardless of how low it might be (within reason).

the latest info i was told was that if its a good house multiply the square footage by 10 dollarsif its bad multiply by 20 dollars per square footand 25 if its uglyto get the reproduction cost. i personally think the guy was trying to screw my math up to keep me under him, he is supposed to be my mentor but when i ask him things like this he acts a Lil funny that's why I'm fishing and looking to learn enough to break away.what do u guys think

Like i've told plenty of people, getting deals in Columbus is like shooting fish in a bucket......That is atleast to me.I live 20mi or so away from columbus, do a good bit of work there related to foreclosures (Lots of BPO work.)I have multifamilies in my county (Pickaway) and know enough about Columbus.
