Goes to show that you shouldn't assume someone is smart because they have a graduate degree, and do not assume that everyone in "high paying" professions such as law, medicine, etc, is high income.

I invest in satellites around Edmonton such as Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan, but I would call that the greater Edmonton area as they are pretty close.Many smaller cities such as Medicine Hat, fort McMurray and LLoyminster have larger municipal airports or small international Airports, and often take people to international hubs such as Vancouver and Calgary to be flown worldwide.

For as much as large builders cut cost corners, they used plenty of blocking behind cabinets and even for medicine cabinets in the bathrooms regardless of if they were ordered.

But as long as food cost's money, Doctors, medicine, clothing, eye glasses, etc etc., yes happiness is directly regulated via ones amount of money, because all those things that bring happiness, cost MONEY.

If you are talking about investing in a city where the average house price is lower, then it can work (eg don't invest in Toronto, ON, but in Medicine Hat, AB).
