You could be the president of the board, and handle all of the business of the association, file taxes, handle common area expenses, etc.You'd get your money now; but, you'd pay for it later...you no longer control those units.I'd rent.

Another big one is that, in general, you personally cannot benefit from actions/investments made by your IRA (and vice-versa).It will be hard to argue that you didn't personally benefit from the IRA sale or that the IRA didn't benefit from the intermediary sale to you.

Not saying these other areas won't experience growth (I guess I'm also a big perma-bull, Steven), I just think Garfield will have quicker and higher returns.I know this goes against my "observation" only criticism from the original post, but to be honest I'm still very new to the field of real estate and I'm looking to use these kinds of posts in order to start discussions so I can learn from local area experts and/or newcomers like yourselves (and vice versa you learn from myself and one another).

Seems to be coming from 1) travel nurses 2) people who live with older family members and need to quarantine after a trip somewhere before coming home and 3) college students or young professionals who moved home during the pandemic but now are either totally sick of being around their family or vice versa ha.
