It is a beautiful area and the people here are wonderful.Mobile is poised for economic growth and the future looks bright especially with the arrival of Airbus that is expecting to bring at least a thousand new jobs to the area in the next two years.Carrie and I feel like we are in a transition with the kids now grown and doing well on their own.

The geography is much different than So Cal and as others have mentioned you really can't parse out areas by zip code like you can in LA.I think you need to work backward in your investment purchase and know that the rental sweet spot last year was $1500/mo and in the past 6 months has grown to $1700/mo.
