The room was packed with people from every demographic - first time home buyers, RE investor, seniors living off SS & families struggling to make ends meet…especially with inflation and the always increasing San Diego Sunshine tax/costs. $24/$35k is a lot of money for anyone, but it will be a crippling financial blow to a lot of people!

I used to play a ton of golf and always walked and packed my bag.. that along 130 rounds a year was good for 10 to 15 lbs.. on my frame.. but dont golf anymore so have to work out.

But I sure get the premise in many markets were houses peaked in the 80s and have been steadily declining ever since.. you can find all sorts of homes in rural America and rust belt cities for FAR less than replacement costs.. so it becomes school.. do you like to pack up and move if your landlord says he/she is selling or they lose the house to foreclosure etc etc.

I did have to question the replacement of a window pane twice over the matter of three months and I haven't seen an issue since.My property here in Colorado - it's rented by a management trainee (24 year old kid right out of college) for the local meat packing plant.

For exampleI try to live well below my means meaning wearing the same pair of shoes for years, packing my own lunch, not impulse shopping, and not give in to social pressures to spend money just because that's what the "norm" is.
