We've had 2 instances of tenants' doors being broken down - one by the police in a case of mistaken address-identity (the city later reimbursed us for the repair), and one by an alleged robber.

My wife and I looked at a property on Saturday that sounds almost identical, just curious...We passed as we had a tough time evaluating comps.  

A nearly identical house literally across the street recently closed for $52,065.

I had almost an identical issue.  

The problem with using "Rules of Thumbs" are that there are no two markets identical.

I am curious about the effectiveness of this, and if it would actually catch the thieves. 

Regarding Fort Gordon being primarily a Signals training location - that was certainly true for most of its history, but the identity of the Fort has been changing to that of a Cyber hub.  

And we have to make that profit to stay in business.But there are thieves out there, hopefully the old ladies have families that keep them from getting swindled.

I can sort of understand ripping the copper out etc. done by thieves.

After looking at so many properties that have been hit by copper thieves over the years, I have started to have this recurring fantasy about catching them in the act.
