Hi Leigh Ann,Every state is different, but generally you are only responsible for paying the Doc Stamps, the Clerk's Fee, Publication costs and a few other misc fees.  

In addition to losing your shirt, you’ll lose your hair.

I am cautiously optimistic that this is not an anomaly and that I can  "rubber-stamp" this over and over.

I could also lose my shirt because the business is in it's infancy and unproven.Conversely just like a stable apartment building with a base of tenants with good payment history I can count on a business that has showed xx profit and numbers for a very long time.

You could address and stamp yourself by hand but Vistaprint printed, addressed and mailed it for 15¢ each - in my mind a no brainer.7.
