I had a year membership in 2012. 

It instantly paid for my membership fee and then some.  

It's slightly easier on the paperwork with the investors (they don't have to prove accreditation as long as I have an established relationship prior to the opportunity) and it allows you to bring in friends and family that are not accredited investors (kinda like sneaking someone through the back do or of the membership only club). 

I'm considering getting a paid membership to either Rehab Valuator or BiggerPockets for access to their Deal Analysis tools.

Is the premium membership worth it? 

That kind of stuff, while I'm there anyway.I won't drive across town to save $.03 on gas or cancel my newspaper or gym membership, but will save on the fatties. 

I found other organizations that were promoting similar services but I was was turned off with future upsell/membership fees involved and my overall goals seemed a bit misaligned.

Judges in my jurisdiction tend to look at things like the formality of accounting, the decision making process of the LLC, bank accounts and assets for the LLC, membership contribution schemes, and a number of other factors.These rules may or may not apply in Ohio.

I think I likely know the answer to this one, but thought I would check here too.I am getting a good grip on the rules within a SDIRA for the most part as far as Prohibited Transactions & Self Dealing and the fact that you can manage screening showing etc... but NOT be compensated for it.Does that mean there is no way within a SDIRA to pay for things such as a "Pro" membership here at BP, educational seminars, etc.....?
