Even if they never sue, having the possibility of prospective tenants hear them rant about it doesn't reflect well.I had a tenant that had no problems voicing his "opinions", even when I had the pest control guy there spraying.

Ive mostly used Google voice in the past for other numbers than my personal number.  

If you're not one to particularly get upset about codes calling, you can always set up a google voice number, with a voicemail of just your first name.

This may sound a little academic but tax value and home value (or market value, if you like) are the same, but they may refer to two different points in time.

Your post inspired me to continue to view my knowledge in other areas as a plus and not constantly think to myself - why didn't I follow my inner voice and start learning and diving into real estate development sooner?!

After the new year, Pete dropped the price to $1295/month and the google voice number and the gmail lit up. 

I really enjoy them, especially when you get the squeaky voiced kids singing quick tips or famous four, its so bad its funny.

Not sure how much demand there is for construction workers or for traveling academics but at this point, I'd try to reach them all.
