My thoughts; The Colony is still a short trip to DFW, retail and restaurants are blowing up with things like Nebraska Furniture Mart.

So many tend to be outdated in finishes and furniture and may need appliances, water heater and a/c's replaced as well.

There are places you can save money, but your furniture and decor look cheap and not screaming dream and fantasy.

We left all of the furniture so it is ready to go.

If they don’t want you there you’ll be gone sooner than later and you’ll have wasted your money on all that furniture. 

You can do well if thing are done just right, but there isn't much stopping the owner from not renewing the lease, regs changing that ban STRs or restrict or simply trying to live through a market downturn.You would then be left with a house full of furniture you have to sell or give away and all that lost $$$ you spent to set it up.

Hey all, I am about to put my house up for as a short term rental but I am still living in it, however I would like to get pictures up.Can anyone recommend a website that I could potentially stage furniture with existing furniture but be able to add like a light on a night stand and remove person items? 

I was wondering if I can deduct the taxes on furniture that I buy to furnish these two rooms.Thanks in advance.
