Unemployed section 8 vouchers may become common.

If the NY State government is keen on providing rent support for 90 days, then they should be issuing government backed vouchers, not forcing the burden on small business owners.

Someone needs to call the White House and each Governors Office and stop this SBA insanity.Landlords don't need "Loans" they need payment vouchers.  

If I provide our local Chamber of Commerce or other 501(c)(3) non-profit with rent vouchers for qualifying hospital employees and first responders, would the foregone rent be tax deductible?  

My boss is willing to offer 10% discount on your voucher and a refund if you don’t use the gift card.

Not intending to come off dramatic. It's a story. This content probably ain't exactly wanted by BP. I just felt confident that I could fast track a solution or three via the BP Network, as it were.

I don't believe your section 8 voucher will allow this. 

@Kris Russell we just acquired a property and opened the application pool to section 8 voucher holders.

The Cook County Human Rights Ordinance: This ordinance prohibits people in Cook County (including employers, landlords, property managers, real estate agents, store and restaurant owners, bankers, lenders and Cook County government officials and employees) from unlawfully discriminating against or harassing other people on the basis of that person's race, color, sex, age, religion, disability, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, military discharge status, source of income (including use of a housing choice voucher), housing status, or gender identity.
