I even know people who get trickles of water that come in through the clay blocks and then down the drain.I even know people that get a couple inches of water in their basements at least once every couple years, and its almost like they just treat it as a normal routine of clean up and then end up filling the space back up with furniture as though it'll never happen again .But i think the trend is startinv to change alot and basements are starting to become a more used space for beyond just storing stuff.

While schools can be VERY important if your property is family oriented (3+ bedrooms, large yard, etc), it can be far less important if your house is in a retirement community, is a studio or a 1 bedroom, is a trendy "tiny house", is in a work/live space, is right downtown and close to night-life or is otherwise more geared to those without children or who are "pre-child" or "post-child".I have many friends who are either empty-nesters or who are middle-aged and childless that just love finding funky houses, close to the stuff they think is cool and who never even know where the nearest school is, much less know or care how they perform.

I have been doing plenty of reading (definitely a popular trend I see in here amongst the newbies), perfecting my credit score, working on a plan to approach this, setting my short term goals as well as long term goals.

My impression is a "B" house would need remodeling every 15 years or so to stay up to date and trendy for the pickier B-renter vs. a C renter is happy with a 30 year old kitchen.

Having researched this as a property mgr, what I discovered was this was trendy a few years ago but hardly anyone can actually get their insurance company to do so.
