Almost every location has something to be terrified of. 

While I actually enjoy the job (yes, I'm still working there) and there are tremendous advancement opportunities, the thought of working 60+ hour weeks until I'm old enough to retire from my 401k terrified me and motivated me to do something about it.In about August of 2018 I started learning everything I could about REI and immersed my self in self education from reading 15-20 books a month to listening to almost all of the BP podcasts. 

The first step is confusing and because of that it’s terrifying.

The biggest thing for me at the time as a noobie investor was I was terrified of vacancy, and I figured no matter what happens with the housing market kids are gonna keep going to college!

I was terrified.

For our flips in California, I would be terrified to touch anything at $45,000, knowing that there would have to be something terribly wrong for it to be listed so far below market value.

I am a bit terrified of marketing a property in winter, but I definitely will check out Cozy.co because that seems very convenient to do it all in one place.

The numbers here look incredible, and I almost guarantee it's terrifying to manage this.

When bad things happen, take the long view, because there really is a long learning curve you can't always beat in this, and very often your capacity to just keep putting one foot ahead of the next into the terrifying unknown, dealing with one failure after another and not letting it stop you, is the most important skill you will need to develop.
