Always turn the perceived weakness into a strength.

Negotiate from a position of financial strength!

I've done a bit of rehab work over the last few years and am confident in basic fixes, but I would say my strength is that I am just tenacious and figure out ways to "make things work."

All kinds of stuff goes into this, including rents, strength of regional economy, other things that affect supply and demand. 

As a new investor I think my biggest strength is determination.

Twenty minutes of holding a man's arm together, hoping the EMTs make it in time before he slips away, praying as hard as you can for all the strength that God can give you in this hour of need.

Then fill in the weaknesses with other peoples strengths (which could be money or skills). 

I'm sure you both have strengths that you can leverage to have different roles in the business. 

Also, Find your strengths and leverage them early

Sometime we really unerestimate the power and strength of financial traps, take heed, they can be deadly.
