Meetings were monthly, the organizer got some very interesting speakers.  

We have a meeting coming up Thursday, July 7, 7-8pm at 205 W Boutz Rd Building 2 in Las Cruces.Our guest speaker this month is Henry Apodaca with First American Bank and he's going to teach about the underwriting process and about investor relationships with traditional lenders (as per the request of group members).

I am more eager than ever, after coming from a Fortune Builders disappointment, it just seemed like they wanted money, more of a spew of here and there information, reverse psychology, good marketing and good speakers to try and get $25k from me.....but anyway...like I said, would love to be able to ask questions with someone, go out to lunch/dinner and really get some good information and guidance.

There are usually speakers on topics of interest to real estate investors.  

It was a pretty solid meeting but the speaker got a little long winded and I'll admit I was slightly burned out by the time he was done, and pretty much bolted to the door when he finally wrapped it up.
