 I live on a 2 homes on a lot with my owner my landlady in the front house me in the back,Okay I got permission from my landlady to go ahead and put up a 16x 48 in pool then she's later comes to me telling me I need to get renters insurance and I need to put a gate with a lock.

Some things they consider acceptable....moving in grown children and their live in partners, pets without landlord permission,  modifications to unit without permission, bringing in curbside cast off furniture containing bed bugs etc.........Finding regular tenants that pay on time will be far less work and stress than S8.Additionally inspections can be a major pain.

You'd need an independent cost analysis on the replacement (I'd get three estimates), permission from the city to close as a variance to their permitting process (likely the sticking point) and a new addendum for this additional agreement.
