My guess is that our situation is different; different end goals, W2 income, home prices, market conditions, strategies, etc... but I can share my journey and what I look for in my current market along with prices. 

Hello - I'm new to Bigger Pockets, excited to get my real estate investment journey going.I own a Condo in Chicago with a friend of mine (split 50/50), which I've lived in for about 5 years.

I’m relatively new to the world of real estate, having started my journey just 2 years ago.

I’ve been on a journey for about eight years now, moving from a negative net worth to a modest level of wealth, with goals to keep growing indefinitely.

It’s awesome to see you starting your real estate journey so early, congrats. 

There are also people who swear by one method or another.

He uses poorly thought through methods, I've listened to his "methods",  Thus, he has the high amount of  Due On Sale called in a short period of time.
