It seems like that's the biggest unknown quantity that can make condo rentals extremely unprofitable.

And I believe there is some other number for daily overall vote quantity - but I don't think you're hitting that. 

Fernando H.One caution about you buying tile and then having someone else install it: They have no concern over waste or mis-cuts.You should have them give you a quantity estimate, agree to a waste factor, and then hold them responsible for any material overrun.

I don't want to settle for quantity over quality, or even quality over quantity.

One other good reason to get into small apartment complexes is the quantity of competition is lower and more in your favor.

Sketch out a floor plan and get dimensions of the rooms and areas etc where you can now put cost to quantities.  

Quality of NOI & cash flow is every bit as important (I'd argue more important) than quantity.
