Then go trip the GFI breaker. if it turns off the toaster than the outlets are tied together and you should be good to go.I'm so glad to hear Baltimore is harassing private property owners instead of focusing on important things like tge murder rate!

And I WOULD have filed an ADA complaint with the Department of Justice, a complaint with the local real estate commission, and a private lawsuit as well because I was already into the rental prepaid to $4000.I'm just glad I'm there now to protect my daughter from that kind of harassment.

If so, I have a chat with them, and possibly send a 30 day fix or quit notice.Third up, if the downstairs tenant is actually harassing the upstairs tenant (I am betting not), the upstairs tenant could claim they are being harassed and therefor get out of their lease early without penalty.

He was 1) Ticketed for domestic disturbance, 2) Has harassed the tenants upstairs for making too much noise [they are now moving out], 3) Was 30 days late on March rent due to the government shutdown [was able to get rent assistance from the County], 4) Smokes in the house [though I have no way to prove it], and 5) Told me in December that he needed to terminate his lease early because of the noise upstairs, but hasn’t been able to find a new place for the last 4 months.
