I lived in NJ and it can get sticky hot but I never lived anywhere with central AC in NJ.On the other hand... if your bathrooms are really bad you will get more mileage out of losing the pink tile then central air.

Oddly enough today I happened to take a new route and ran right into a little gorgeous lakefront community, with guess what - one ugly boarded up house.

One contractor who came out had a little white cigaret looking thing that he rubbed on a board and it turned pink and he said it had lead and would be like 5k to “properly” prep it with 10 foot 6 mil sheeting, having misters going to keep the dust from flying, etc.

I have rebuilt the walls and have coated with redguard (the pink paint), which acts as a waterproof membrane. 

They "tried me" when I asked for the pink slips of paper not knowing they changed to yellow.

I've seen more shag carpets and green and pink kitchens than I thought ever existed.

It may seem more expensive however  you will spend more using more coats of cheaper paint.A light pink covered a blue and purple polkadot wall in one coat.

I am partial to skyblue pink with green accents .

It's a harder decision when they are pink or yellow, but in my opinion, the blue looks pretty nice.

I only thought I could get another 2000 $ per month net income out of the building - I didn't know then what that would mean in terms of equity creation.NOW - I write this from the gorgeous sunny south of France between mountains and the Med, we moved here two months ago and are retired ages 39 and 41.
