Additionally these high-end modular's price point is higher than comparable site built projects unless it's in a remote area where labor and suppliers are scarce.S2A could be successful, in my opinion, if they had a quality product sold and installed through capable, competent, contractor/ dealers.

These vary a lot: I've seen hard money lenders, turnkey providers, wholesalers, building contractors/tradesmen, suppliers (flooring, cabinets, appliances), companies that offer tenant screening, property managers, etc.
